The soft subs don't work in CCCP or KMplayers, they show up but dont show in the video.

The soft subs don't work for me in VLC player, how can I get them to show? Is there another video player that will play the mkv files and show the subs?

@doradhorror: there's no widescreen version of this anime, for it was made in the mid 90's. widescreen-tv came after that!!! Only the Sakura movies were w.scr. because they were for cinemas
@simplenation: try the 123mediaplayer classic (dl the k-lite codec from filehippo.com)

I got it to work when I downloaded CCCP and used Media Player Classic that comes with it. Though in the first episode, the subs for like the first 2-3 minutes of the beginning of the episode itself are missing for some reason so I just googled the name of the episode and watched this part on a streaming website where it was subbed from the start.

For episodes skipping/restarting:
Go Tools, Preferences (select all in the bottom left) > Inut/Codecs > Demuxers > Matroska > Untick the following options
- Ordered Chapters
- Chapter codecs

This does not fix the first episode where no subtitles are displayed for the first five minutes. They show up eventually though.

To clarify for everyone, those are instructions for the window's version of VLC media player.

I own a mac, so I had to click on VLC on the menu bar > preferences > Inputs and Codecs THEN check select all in bottom left corner. After that, it's caseykitten said.

When I downloaded This The only Video's that worked Were the Closeing Credits and opening Credits Every other video Did not play at all :-( I spent a long time downloading this as well What Did I do wrong?

I request this with the english Dub that used to show on kids cw or fox kids whichever it was. Seriously I don't want to read my anime. I want to WATCH IT and Listen.

@NekodaLolita: Man up!(or woman) don't be a lazyass saying you don't want to read the subs and watch the eng dub version. The english dub is pure total garbage. It's so terrible the way they americanized it.

@maxx1601 Yes I am a woman thanks for the inclusion. Excuse me though, I am an avid reader of Manga and novels Have been since I was young. So when I say I don't want to read the anime, It means that I do plenty of reading day to day so kiss my rump. Plus this download doesn't work at all. and I have a technician super computer genius bf. We tried dling this on his computer we tried on mine we each got the suggested media players and my vlc is updated so, even if I wanted to watch the original I can't because Anarki clearly didn't know what they were doing.

Great Torrent and works better than I expected. How is it that you get each episode to recognize the opening and ending credits in VLC. I love that! Plus it saves on file size.

@HarpyArc- Try looking for Cardcaptors specifically, that's what they called it in America. You usually have a harder time finding English Dubs due to licensing being more strictly enforced. Good Luck!
