The Name of the Wind (Kingkiller Chronicles, Day 1)

THE POWERFUL DEBUT NOVEL FROM FANTASY'S NEXT SUPERSTAR

Told in Kvothe's own voice, this is the tale of the magically gifted young man who grows to be the most notorious wizard his world has ever seen. The intimate narrative of his childhood in a troupe of traveling players, his years spent as a near-feral orphan in a crime-ridden city, his daringly brazen yet successful bid to enter a legendary school of magic, and his life as a fugitive after the murder of a king form a gripping coming-of-age story unrivaled in recent literature. A high-action story written with a poet's hand, The Name of the Wind is a masterpiece that will transport readers into the body and mind of a wizard.

“Reviewers swiftly acquire a healthy skepticism about pre-publication hype, but [...] THE NAME OF THE WIND by Patrick Rothfuss turns out to be just as good as the galley blurb says it is.”

quite decent book. Not great but rather ok. Thanks for the upload!
AMAZING book. If you didn\'t like this or only thought it was decent, you\'re most likely just too dumb to appreciate near-perfect literature.
Its true. The book is solid work. The Audiobook is indeed from a cassette and you can easily tell. At one point I had to skip forward a few minutes because of awful feedback. The narrator isnt the best either sadly. Either way, thanks for the upload!
I just began the download. But read it already in Spanish, as good as a translation can be it is not the same as the original language it was written, thank you.
Great book, so-so quality (too much noise removed when converted to mp3 from cassette, I imagine), bloody awful narrator!

As stated above, there is about a minute of seriously horrible feedback (between about 6:45 and 7:45 on file 61), which isn't fixable (I tried).

Still worth having, I promise.
comments are exaggerated. The quality is fine, and the narration is fine. recommended book.
