It's a damn shame this show was not renewed! I guess people would rather watch so-called talent shows, dancing shows and other CRAP than a show that was different with interesting and diverse characters and well-written! I thought this was the best show in the wasteland that is network TV! :(
What does it mean that it's a US version? Shorter episodes?
Whait, suddenly saw that it's an american remake. Why the fuck would they make another (probably severly Holloywoodifised) version of an already brilliant show?

the setting is a little different but the storyline is almost identical
they just made the episodes a little longer to cover the same story in one season as opposed to 2

Is anyone having sound problems with episode 12? Problem being there is no sound.
And the american version is almost the same as the brit version, except for the ending. I preferred the american ending, it was more final and unless you watch the first episode of ashes to ashes you don't know exactly what happened to Sam.

There was never a second season produced of the US version. Instead, they extended season one (which is the torrent we are commenting on).

I'm only checking this out to see if the writing is as horrendous as everyone says.
Watched this first run, never saw the UK version. I thought it was great and was truly surprised by the ending... despite the title. Any show with Harvey Kietel and Micheal Imperioli can't be all bad.
I remember sawing this on TV when it was on air. I haven't seen UK version, but I'll rewatch the US in few months ago. It was awesome when I saw it, I hope it won't dissapoint me.
