One of my favorite movies! I even went to the motel they stayed at in Burbank, CA! Excellent performances by the entire cast.
Good video settings, but your audio bitrate is way too low. Next time please try using something like q 4 or 5 VBR for optimal quality.
I'm using Nero AAC-HE (not just LC). HE is not really so much about top-quality, but about sounding acceptable/virtually-transparent to most people at low bit rates. I sought a good compromise for filesize/quality, researched several reputable audio and encoding sites, and tested their recommendations for optimal results. One such forum discussion link ...

Note: the Tarantino Cut editor's published DVD is a DVD5 so the quality is acceptable yet not what a DVD9 is capable of. I hope he publishes a DL version, then I'll post an upgraded rip soon after. Until then, if one were to also download the editor's full DVDR 4GB version and compare the video and audio to this rip, it should be virtually indistinguishable.
