This works great. I'm wondering whether it would also work with the 1.0.0.4 patch (sometimes erroneously referred to as 1.0.5.0).

What folder exactly should it be copied to? I take it you just run LaunchGTAIV.exe... do you just leave the 1911.dll file named the way it is? Does this disable the internet stuff? I haven't used previous cracks so I don't know if the same steps apply to this one... do I have to log in to anything (windows live, social club, etc.)? Can someone post more exact step by step instructions...

just find and aply patch v1.0.4.0
copy the two files (LaunchGTAIV.exe AND 1911.dll) of the crack in the repertory of the game
