My understanding is that this version will no longer work with the RC or beta keys, so that the 30-day activation period kicks in and the only way to fix that is to use the rearm method. Has anyone learned of any way to actually activate this? Also, 7265 has already been compiled but not yet released.

i have installed windows 7 build 7264 three days back fully activated. windows 7 build 7260 key is working. only it is activated online by microsoft and its free. NO CRACK REQUIRED. i am writing this from windows 7 os evaluation copy and it will expires on 02 march 10. but i am recieving all update through windows update.

Does anyone think there will be a leak of the real RTM once thats signed off on?
And I have RC 7229 installed, is there any reason why I should be updating to 7264?

i downloaded the 1st build of windows 7 and had the shutdown problem (auto showdown every 2 hours) does this build have the same problem?
and to install do u need to burn it or just mount it?

I tried vLite on x86 7201 with no success. Didn't even take out much, just some languages and whatnot. Gonna try again without unattended.

hi, I downloaded Windows 7 before, everything was fine until my internet didn't work one morning. I had to put Vista back in. does anyone know if this will do the same? thanks.

Can anyone help me with the activation process?
I ran the activation application included in the activation.rar file, said that windows 7 was activated. I rebooted but when i go Start menu-Computer-Properties, it still says that I have to activate windows.

This is the 32 bit right? it says that in the name but the info link says x64 x86.

Are there any risks associated with using this release? I tried a RC version of Windows Vista back before it was released and it fried my gfx board. I had to use my lifetime warranty so I don't really want to lose this replacement one :p

There's a guy saying that 7600 32-bit version is just this 7264 one.
