For WDTV Live change extension from .m4v to .mp4 You may also need to rename to .mp4 if you are playing off a USB drive on the PS3. Should be fine if you are just streaming. NOTE: Only download the .m4a file if you wish to use the AAC 5.1 audio. Use batch script "Make AAC 5.1.cmd" to make MP4 have AAC5.1 audio. (For PS3, WDTV or Popcorn Hour. Apple TV, Xbox, and VLC do not need this file.) -------------------------------------------------------- Apple TV is the perfect way to enjoy HR HD on your HDTV. Videos are encoded with 1920 ABR, with no limits, so it saves bandwidth and spikes when it thinks it needs it, so in order to fix this there will have to be hard caps put on bandwidth at around 5000 bitrate. You can watch the bitrate in VLC under statistics.

HolyRoses, I must say I have been a long time fan of your work! My Mom and I love your stuff! I also know that you are very busy, and if you ever need/want help/anything don't hesitate to ask.
I was wondering if you might know how to or have tried to encode your PiZ format or PSP with subtitles (but, not hardcoded subs)?
The reason , why I'm asking is because my mom is really starting to be hard-of-hearing. So when we watch tv we use cc or movies we use subtitles.
If you know or don't know, please either leave a comment hear or email me!

Long Live HolyRoses!!!
If you are on Mac and want "softsubs" on the Apple TV i can recommend a app called "iSubtitle". Fast and easy.
A wish to you HR, is if you could find the old classic Star Wars Triology and do your magic on them. They are hard to find :P
I have them on DVD but would be nice to have them for the ATV.

yeah step brothers is one of my favs
Thanks HR. Gonna DL this now and have a check. ill get back with my resaults.
@HR Have started to play native now. Gonna flash it and use a external HDD instead. Streaming works only under perfect conditions now with the OS 3. Worked much smoother before but been planning to flash it for a while now and extend the features by the ATV Flash stick.
