SpinRite no longer owns the monopoly as the program below has proven to be a great alternative which is heavily protective upon purchase:

Keygen crack and instructions make it easy to install on CD.

I would pay for such programs if I could only find me a real job!! I realize these programs for PCs are very rare.
will this work for a flash drive?
Thank you!
No, the tool will not fix a flash drive.

It works at a very low level to make sure each 1 and 0 is correct. It will only fix bad data.

A flash drive has 1's and 0's stored perfectly - so there is nothing for it to fix.
@AznVidTrader sez: "A flash drive has 1's and 0's stored perfectly - so there is nothing for it to fix"

Jesus, this is one of the dumbest fucking comments I've ever heard. If you don't know WTF you're talking about, then STFU.

@scoot9: Short answer is "yes".
Long answer is there are various reasons why data becomes corrupted after being written to a medium. In many cases, this corruption is irrecoverable, but in SOME cases, corrupted data CAN be recovered and rewritten to safe media. This is where recovery software like spinrite comes in.
The first rule for recovery is that a failed device must be what's known as "mountable" by the system. This means the failed device must have been originally formatted with a "file system" (FS) such as FAT, NTFS, CDFS, etc.
This of course means hard drives, cd-roms, dvds, and YES AZNVIDTRADER, THIS INCLUDES FLASH DRIVES!
This is the best program there is that other program HDD_Regenerator [email protected]*%ed my hard drive off thanks for the upload
I burnt a bootable DVD with this. I can get it to boot Freedos from the DVD but shortly after it stalls. Any clues?
I hear ya, MJKW2Ab...

I'd pay for so many programs if I had any money at all coming in. I'm in the disability process and have just recently lost all financial support.

Talk about scary as hell! :-/
I'm in that same disability boat, bruddah. Its a ton of lulz until the rug that is your health.. the one that really tied the room together... gets pulled out from under you. Or pissed on for the sake of reference continuity.

Anyway... HDD Regen is garbage. Trying this instead.
It is portable. Runs on Windows 10 Creators Update. Kaspersky Internet Security 2017 didnĀ“t say anything. And it is already registered.
