I am using Linux so I couldn't use IMGburn. I used K3B on Linux and just burned the ISO at 2.4x.

Works perfectly.

First of all a lot of thanks for seeding Ford nav DVDs. Much appreciations.

I managed to download your 7P disk the one you claimed as 7D. A bit later 8P was downloaded as well. I need to update my friend's Lincoln Aviator 2004 and none of these disks worked. There's never ending message on the screen "Reading DVD" and no luck.
Any magic behind your disks to make them working ?

I have a 2003 lincoln navigator which is cd-rom based. Is there any update I can get for that? Anyway to burn just my area on a cd-rom? Let me know.

This works great! Much better map/road data. But I did notice that there are a lot less POI's. Tonnes of stores are missing that were in 7P. Very odd.

Same issue for me - after I insert the disc I receive a never-ending message that says 'reading disc' but there is no activity in the dvd unit. When I reinstall the original disc it almost immediately fires up the map. Any ideas??

Please someone seed the .mds file for 7D, posted as 7P,
the disk won't work unless its burned using that key file.

On the issue of the never ending message "reading Disk" its because chances are it was burned without the .mds file.

i am sure the disk works. i burned the unziped files and included the MSD file in it. i am getting the same error message as my other disk i had before. " this disk is not compatible or may be dirty please take out and clean again. its a new DL +R DVD. do they make DL-R DVD? perhaps that can be my issue?

Thank you!!!!...seems to be working great, first try, loads fine in a 2008 Ford Escape Hybrid factory 6 disc nav sys. Took a couple of minutes to load in the nav sys. Used a Verbatim DVD+R DL, burned with ImgBurn 2.5.7.0...burned as DVD+R (I would have burned it as DVD-ROM but ImgBurn didn't have my Asus dvdrw in their list of drives but it turns out it didn't matter).

I've burned the .mds file on my GPS, and the system reads it as 8P, but my main concern is that everything still looks the same.. I couldn't get both files onto the disk for some reason using ImgBurn so i only got 1 but the map still looks the same from the previous version of 4P.. Does anyone know if this is supposed to occur or do i need the other file on the disk to change the look of the map and graphics of the system?
