Actually, Mr. Actually. The internet WAS invented by the United States military. Although back then it was called ARPANET and was created IN AMERICA by the several colleges and the US Military to use for continental-communication in case of nuclear war or some kind of huge enemy (Probably Soviet) invasion. ARPANET eventually grew and grew into the Internet as we know it today.
