Turco, a fisherman from the Colombian Pacific coast, now lives in Cali. Together with his son Yosner, he yearns to return to the land he abandoned three years ago due to the ongoing armed conflict. Turco lives in the city, trapped in a profound feeling of rootlessness while Yosner tries to find a possible future. When Yosner is killed, Turco’s dreams of return are shattered. Grieving, he has to find a place to bury his son and, in a city that isn’t his, try to plant roots.
