whenever i try and open it the screen goes black like its about to do something like always but nothing else. like it just sits there for hours on a black screen while the cursor is an hourglass..... any help guys?

also when i get tired of waiting and try to pull up the task manager, its veeeeeeeeerrrrrrryyyyyyyy slow and says that black ops is using 100% of my CPU usage and it says black ops is not responding...

i m having a problm....after playing some stages..in astage when v have to help woods to open gate by prssing f reaptdely,,..and suddenly a car blast...after det screen goes black...onle target and an indicator is shown in right down of screen..

now wat to do as screen is black.. plz help...

Skidrow does not mean no CD, skidrow is a group of awesome people who make games that usually cost money cost nothing when downloaded for example here. However you dont need CD even though skidrow does not mean no CD. All you need is a disc mounting program like Daemon Tools, and then you use that program to mount the game, and then it will be just like if you were to put a CD in.

Go to installation folder > Activision > Call of Duty - Black Ops > Redist > Directx > dxsetup.exe

the game has no problem in playing. BUT IT TAKES SO LONG (more than 5 minutes to wait) TO LOAD AND IM LOSING PATIENCE LIKE THIS!. whenever I start a mission I have to wait for so long. any fix? or is that normal already?
