Set in 2004 at a time when Estonia joined NATO and attracted the interest of neighbouring Russia, the series follows Estonian defence official Alfred Vint as he becomes a Russian spy, sparking a cat-and-mouse chase between him and a determined young Estonian counterintelligence officer as they navigate the twists and turns of their professional and personal lives.
