merci!
i cant seem to find bwv 1041
@Rstarsonist well, to the best of my knowledge, he never recorded it.
Thanks! Eminent share.
Great torrent... just not for beginner bach listeners
This is amazing, thank you very much!
Perfect sound--dream come true.
Amazing. I love it. Thanks so much. Gould, the greatest interpreter of Bach, the greatest composer.
Great job.
Amazing work! Thank you so much for uploading this treasure.
Merci beaucoup !
these were not written for the piano-forte; bach was not enamoured of the instrument which, in his day, was not yet well developed. but i've never heard of glenn gould playing harpsichord--what a shame...
the lighter touch of the harpsichord allows a quicker, lighter rendering of these magnificent keyboard works.
No art of the fugue? I am disappoint.
My dream all inclusive collection. One of the greatest composers played by one of the greatest pianists. A big THANK YOU.
Is the keyboard a harpsichord or a piano?
Oops sorry, i was confusing this with another torrent. It's obviously the piano, although Gould did use some kind of piano-harpsichord mutant.
What a bunch of pseudo-intellectuals. Why are people like 'catfaceI' saying 'merci' when their native language is obviously English? Bach wasn't French and neither was Gould. Is saying 'merci' as opposed to a simple 'thanks' somehow supposed to make you seem more sophisticated? And then of course, this is a Glenn Gould torrent, so there's the token douch bags like 'Krypz' who pretend to be enlightened Bach experts and disapprove of Gould's style. I bet he was still a freshman in college when he wrote that. I suppose he's just another 'misunderstood' and unappreciated 'genius' like every other white suburban American brat in this country. Why can't people just enjoy this beautiful, timeless music for what it is? Calling this an 'eminent' find doesn't make you appear more cultured or knowledgeable than a person that would simply say 'great find'. Everyone just stop posturing, shut your pseudo-intellectual mouths and enjoy the music.
I just listened to this and it actually does have "Art of Fugue" and it's played on ORGAN. That's two additional moronic comment reduced to cinders.
No art of the fugue? I am disappointed. [2]
Thank you so much...this is fantastic!

I'd forgotten you could hear Gould humming in a lot of these recordings. Years ago, before I knew that, i almost ran off the road listening to one of his CDs while driving. The humming sounded like it was coming from the back seat, and for a second I thought someone had hidden in my car while I was parked. Felt like a fool that it scared the shit out of me!
it would be a perfect torrent if the artist could shut the fuck up while he plays...

anyhow, 10 out of 10 torrent! amazing.
I honestly can't understand it: guy (bach) spend his entire life to compose damn beautiful shit; another guy spend his entire life trying to play this shit right, and when he does he sings while does it

fucking nonsense
