What a fucking waste!! I eagerly downloaded this... It crops the image from the original 2.35:1 aspect ratio to 1.78:1.. Almost a third of the image is cut from both the sides.. Avoid this shit!! Download the DVD iso file instead... You'll get excellent quality and maintain the aspect ratio

Read title, moron. It is HDTV. NOTHING is cropped, 'el stupido'... 16/9 is BIGGER than 2.35/1, right? But - you can't get that for sure.

But, even for stupid persons - HOW SOMETHING BIGGER IS CROPPED (MADE SMALLER) TO BE MADE BIGGER? Something is wrong there... ROFL.

2.35:1 is substantially WIDER than 1.78:1 or 16:9 (1.85:1). He's saying that the original version was much wider and this has been cropped, either pre-broadcast or after it was recorded from HDTV, during the encoding process. No idea whether the original was 2.35:1, but he's not wrong about the video being substantially cropped IF the original movie was 2.35:1. Let people decide for themselves if they want a cropped version of the original movie.
