on extremezone's torrent, i have got bitdefender 2012 total security, and have not come up with a single virus in his torrent. so if anybody worries about it... you shouldn't. Secondly, 'the corporates' are brothers in this regard, so if they flag such and such as viruses... its because their applications are sponsored by their brothers, that's why. but still if you are worried about your system... THEN BUY IT.

What's the crack file? I only have 3 files from the torrent download, which are the files that I have to replace?
to download cracks go to BTARENA's SHiFT 2 torrent and download the crack file im guessing.
Got it to work on macbook pro 13inch (running wineskin - with crack put in) it runs perfectly, a bit of lag, but whenever i crash in evaluation i keep getting black squares in front of the windscreen and then cant see through it, i quit the event and reset and it is still there having to leave to reset the whole game. THis has happened heaps now!!!!!
So it downloaded and installed perfectly for me :) Another great otrrent from extremezone!! :D No lag or anything.... I have one problem with the game though is that I don't get ANY audio at all while racing? It works fine in the menus and the pre race cutscene things but once it goes into gameplay there's no audio!!! please help!!! :)

Max. prerendered frames - 1
this is setup for SHIFT2 program.exe
YOU won't need any patch after doing it like this
make max pre-rendered frames to 1
2 if your pc is older :) have FUN

4) There are tons of torrents out there and tons of this one. Some are good and clean and some aren't. I will pass on this one. It would be pretty stupid to put my computer at risk for a game from someone I don't know. Some of extremezones torrents do have threats.
