Als de studenten van de Angel Beach High School besluiten om 'An Evening With Shakespeare' op de planken te brengen, worden zij daarin tegengewerkt door Miss. Balbricker, die het werk van Shakespeare als obsceen beschouwt. Ze roept hiervoor de hulp in van Bubba Flavel, een religieuze fanaat die met zijn achterban tracht de productie te stoppen. Als hij daarin geslaagd is - mede met de hulp van corrupte stadsofficials (i.v.m. verkiezingen), is het de beurt aan de nerds...

Storyline
When the students of Angel Beach High decide to stage "An Evening With Shakespeare," their efforts are threatened by Miss Balbricker, who views the works of Shakespeare as obscene. She enlists the help of Reverend Bubba Flavel, a religious fanatic who brings along his flock of followers to pressure the school into shutting down the production. When they succeed with the help of corrupt city officials seeking re-election, the gang don't get mad... they get even!
