i read some comments and was just wondering what files do i put where?
i thought i had it before but the comments are a little discouraging and i don't want to mess around with the game folder and have to re install. thanks in advance, otherwise great upload.

For those who have a problem with Chapter 9
(Turrets and the Blue Gel) where the game automatically closes there's what I did to fix the game.
1. Copy the bin folder from inside the portal 2 folder of the crack (files extracted from this torrent)
2. paste them into these locations:
gamefolder (gamefolder itself)
gamefolder/portal
gamefolder/portal2
gamefolder/portal2_french
gamefolder/portal2_german
gamefolder/portal2_russian
gamefolder/portal2_spanish
#Note: "gamefolder" = is where you installed the game.
#Note2: Just agree on everything when a dialogue box appears
(To the cut this short,
put the bin folder of the crack into every folder inside the installation folder)
and then continue with the crack installation
3. Copy every content inside sr_port2cf.rar except "portal2" folder(this torrent)
4. Paste it into the gamefolder (Installation folder)
#note: If you already done 3 and 4. you don't have to do it again. but again there's no harm in doing so.
#note2: Agree again on every dialogue box that appears.

Guys with the "No Steam/Quit/AppID" problem follow these directions given by the lovely Animalmcburger
"THIS CRACK WORKS!!!! READ CAREFULLY:
1.Unzip the .rar crack file and open the folder within
2.Open portal 2 folder and then open the bin folder
3.Inside this bin folder are two files .dll files (Client.dll and Server.dll). Select the two files and hit ctrl+c
4.Go back 2 directories to the initial crack folder and hit ctrl+p to paste these two files
5.select all of 5 original files and the 2 .dll files and then hit ctrl+c again
6.Now go to the install directory via My Computer/C:/Program Files/Valve/Portal 2
7.Hit ctrl+p to copy all 7 files into this folder
8.Now go into each sub directory (bin, platform, portal, and portal 2 and hit ctrl+p to paste all 7 files into each directory Note - Under the Portal 2 subdirectory,there is a bin folder that needs all 7 files pasted in as well.
IF WINDOWS PROMPTS YOU ABOUT REPLACING FILES, ALWAYS SELECT YES TO REPLACE"

His solution did work for me, thanks man! Well, the game crashed at the very end, right after the credits, but that's not such a big problem

@xxTayTatxx That may be aproblem with your graphics card or the files you downloaded originaly are corrupted. Redownload the game and see if it works.

For people who find the install notes too vague:
1. Copy Launcher.exe, portal2.exe, Skidrow.ini and portal2 into the the game installation folder.
2. Copy Steamclient.dll to the bin folder of the game installation folder.
