Val Falvey TD

Val Falvey, TD is an Irish comedy television programme starring Ardal O'Hanlon and Owen Roe. The show began airing on RTE in November 2009. The show is about Val Falvey, a TD in the fictional town of Kilmehill.

The show follows the exploits of Val Falvey, a TD (Irish MP) from Kilmehill. Val inherited his seat from his late father, who represented the constituency for 25 years. Val (Ardal O'Hanlon) is helped by his advisory Pat Daly (Owen Roe) and he shares a rivalry with Dessie Clinch. The show by its nature is a satire of Irish politics.
