Hi, pls help! I messed up twice and did not "run as administrator" (third time installed ok!) but it still took 10gb of my hdd for the first 2 failed installations.
Anyone know how to erase that data? it does not show up anywhere?

great job. guys just do what the instructions say. mount the .iso file, install the game and copy and paste the content of the crack directory to the dungeon siege III file. the crack file can be seen if you open the daemon tools (or whatever program you use)

1.download
2.mount
3.run steambackup as admin (install folder- wherever u want - dont bother about steam)
4.in the selected folder will be the game
5.copy crack files to main folder
6.have fun

Install intructions are SHIT.

3. Install the Game....

Well, there are TWO exe files, man, and the most obvious to run is named SETUP, but really is not the apropiate... so Install intruction FAIL.

So you MUST specify which. Otherwise people
waste his time with shit.

Other FAIL: When you run the apropiate exe:

SteamBackup.exe

the form of the application put NOTHING in it, the user HAS TO GUESS !! that application is asking for the directory to install the game....
so so FAIL.

Okay, I have the answer.
I ran into all the same problems most of you where having. Here's what I did.
Of course, unrar, mount.
DOT NOT BOTHER WITH STEAM.
Now, click on the disk. It will ask to select a folder.
What I did, I created a new folder on my desktop, and selected that new folder. And it installed perfectly.
Now, just copy over the crack, and there you go.
No need to install steam, no serial code, none of that crap.

First, thanks for the U/L! Second I installed the game and it seems to work no probs. I used PowerISO to mount, and double clicked the steamback.EXE file and ran file directly. When prompted with the file directory option, I chose (or thought I did) C:/Program Files and wha la! My only problem came when I looked for the file and nothing! It actually installed in at C:Games/Dungeon Siege III. No biggie! haven't really delved into the game but looks good so far.

This took a while, for those that have problems with getting errors about files not being there, I'm using win7 64bit I installed to dir c:...program files (x86), then it installed automatically to c:user/appdata/local/virtualstore... big mistake not all the files were installed tried it about ten times, finally I just install straight to my c drive then bam everything installed perfectly.

MULTIPLAYER WORKS

For all you poor guys not getting responses to "How do you get mp working" I got it. Install Tunngle. Install this as hamachi isn't free or available anymore, i dunno. Install tunngle and set up port forwarding, super easy and and when u download tunngle, there is lots of instructions right there, its awesome. Anyway, once tunngle is installed and ur logged in, there is a nice "Don't Panic" button on the top left of tunngle which tells you exactly what to do and also gives a link for the "Multiplayer Fix" and it all works great.

Install the game per some of the instructions on here, not all are clear.

that last part didn't make sense, sry. Dont copy over cracked content if you are wanting to do offline, lan coop multiplayer. You need to install steam if you don't have it and log in. There's gonna be other cracked shit u need from the tunngle links so again, don't copy over the cracked stuff from reloaded, just get the game installed.
