Hi can u download any of the dsm-vi study guides?
Thanks!
THX so much! I love fooling psychiatrists!
Thank you very much.
Are you gonna get DSM V as well, which is about to come out in May?
Thanks a bundle Hexley-nl...

I have been looking for version 5 (which is not named V, as it breaks tradition using the numerical 5, not Roman Numerals) but have not come across it yet.

I was going to get DSM 5 after selling my version IV but it runs about $500 That's a bit much for something so controversial. I do believe I will continue with four until I can download v5 and carefully check it out. Then, if I disagree with other psychologists (who have raised a real stink) then I might purchase it.
I notice that the DSM IV appears to have missing pages, with only the odd numbered pages provided, and the DSM I provides just even numbered pages. Am I missing something or is this correct? I suppose it could be my PDF reader (Sumatra), but I have never noticed this before.

Please leave a message if you have also noticed this discrepancy.
The missing pages problem was my Sumatra PDF reader. I had the settings incorrect. All is OK now. Thanks again Hexley.
Thank you for the Pack, I used to have hard copies of 1 through 4TR and now 5. But I lost them in a moving.

I suggest to people interested in the DSM system that they become educated about the fact that it is not based on Evidence or Scientific Research. There is quite a bit of shatter over the internet over the lack of validity and thus reliability.

There is a lot of problems with the DSM that can lead to professional abuse of authority. I for one like to see the improvement of this profession that is so needed.
I feel so guilty, shameful and tormented because am conspiring against the poor American Psychiatric Association from charging me fees for this bogus document.

When the DSM was first published (DSM 1) I think there was only 107 diagnosis that The Psycos could diagnoses u with. By this DSM 5 we currently work with 396 diagnosis (give or take 50 or so).

Psychiatrist have figure out a way to diagnose any person in this planet. Unless the patient can prove that they are joyful and happy !00% of the times. But be careful, if you are too joyful and happy Psychiatrist can still diagnose you as MANIC. There is no wining with this basters.

Am of the opinion that the APA ought to take the word STATISTICAL off the title. Gives the impression to the public and the naive clinician that the DSM system is based and strong foundation in science and statistic. Not so.
