Village SOS is a fictional version of the BBC One series of the same name.

DCI Marion Bettany and DS John Hodgson investigate a murder in the sleepy Northumbrian village of Shilwick. They love their work, they enjoy each other's company and like nothing better than investigating a new crime. The only thing that makes life difficult is dealing with the public. Take the residents of the former mining community of Shilwick, for example.
