This is second (improved) version of my stripped down version of Windows 7 Ultimate with SP1 (32-bit).

It\\\'s bootable image based on en_windows_7_ultimate_with_sp1_x86_dvd_u_677460.iso

This Windows is updateable through Windows Update (language packs cannot be installed).

There is no any software or updates added except newer Internet Explorer 9.

Some tools used: dism, gimagex, vLite, RT7lite, W7T etc. (many thanks to their autors)

What\\\'s difference with last release (Win7.SP1.IE9.lite-IK):

added: Remote Desktop Connection
added: Backup and Recovery
added: Windows PowerShell
contains all sound and network cards drivers.
removed: Minesweeper and Purble Place games only.
less services are disabled.
Windows 7 will be activated if SLIC 2.1 is found in BIOS.
Windows should be 100% software compatible now.

Reminder: Note that almost all the drivers are removed and you should have your computer drivers ready before installation.

If you are regular user you will not notice any difference using my lite version compared to full-featured Windows 7.

An autoattended.xml file is inserted in the image to automate the installation (Language: EN, name: Administrator, PC name: IK-PC, time: UTC+2h. All can be changed 

after setup). You need only to point a partition for installation and in 5-10 min Windows should be installed.

Use windows update. check for updates, click the optional tab, it should be there. there is quite a bit of lang's to choice from. it MIGHT be in the important section, i forget.

Hi Ivankehayov.. You're my idol...very nice version of windows 7... everything works fine except having trouble with my printer/scanner HP C4200.. it's not recognized no matter what i do.. seems like a missing ingredients so I'll be waiting to your version 3.. keep up the good work.. you're the best...

Installing a language pack with this release won't work with window updates. However i found a way to do it, and it's quite easy.

1. Download Vistalizator_beta (Must be this version, tried with the original and didn't work)

2. Download a language pack here http://www.froggie.sk/7lp32rtm.html

3. Open Vistalizator and add your downloaded language pack, and choose the method of installing express not internal (Express mode will only work!)

4. Restart your pc and it will be in your language.

I had few issues install some updates, this is fixable by download the Readiness Tool.

I was able to install language packs aswell after installing readiness tool, But they didn't work. The configuration failed.
However Vistalizator_beta made installing language packs work! So give it a go.

May I ask will this version consume less HDD space ?
Because the original Windows 7 costs around 13gb-15gb and I don't have enough HDD for data (my HDD has only 80gb)
