Having seen the .pdf version of 40 years of x-men, I decided to re-enocde all of these into individual cbr files for easy viewing on my iPad, then decided to share with the world. Here you go!

you are the fucKING man dude.
i take that back your a piece of shit.

thanks for the faggy black picture before every book cover. asshole.
Thank you very much for this! you are the man.
To anyone who want s to remove the first black page from each cbr (inc. unappreciative pieces of shit who do nothing but whine):
On windows:

1- get WinRAR if you dont have it already, install it.

2 - go to WinRar folder and copy the rar.exe file to your cbr folder

3- Create one file "cvtAll.bat" in the CBR folder with the following content:

for /f %%a in ('dir /b *.cbr') do call removeit.bat %%a %%~na

4- Create one file called "removeit.bat" in the CBR folder with the following content:

rar d %1 %2%2-000a.gif

Open the console and run cvtAll.bat. That's it.
I hope this helps... If it doesn't work for you , you probably screwed up something along the way... double check everything. I don't plan on doing tech support here...

Apparently some characters don't display appropriately on comments. There should be a "slash" (i.e: "/" reversed) in the second file thus:

rar d %1 %2(INSERT SLASH HERE)%2-000a.gif

For anyone using bash (OSX, Linux, ...), here is a script to remove the black pages (assuming you have rar installed):

#!/bin/bash

for fname in *.cbr
do
base="${fname%.*}"
rar d "$fname" $base/$base-000a.gif
done

exit 0
@tibor2 or anyone else that can help. I have winrar but i dont see the rar.exe file in the folder. is there some other way to get it?
command somehow not working

it is showing an error that could not find any file to delete
tibor2's bat works great, just tested it. For those who are having problems, it's likely your environmental variable doesn't have winrar appended.

set path="C:Program FilesWinRAR";%path%

will add it temporarily if you only need it for this.
