The Pantera group is an example of how important it is for musicians to find exactly their vocalist. Details are on the web. I have many memories associated with this team. As in the 90s, the boys and I, being shaggy teenagers, dragged bulky, Soviet mafons and turntables, with a bunch of homemade cords, and recorded cassettes. All youthful savings were spent on the purchase of branded cassettes. And how in the evenings they rummaged around the street with a Vesna tape recorder, listened to Panther and Metallica, drank cheap wine, smoked a lot and made friends with the girls in the entrances. With vocalist Philip Anselmo, the musicians released 5 albums. The '92 album Vulgar Display Of Power was the first thing I heard from the musicians. Then there was the '94 album Far Beyond Driven,also strong. And only in the late 90s I heard their first child, Cowboys From Hell. These 3 albums are the coolest. The last 2 albums didn't work for me. Hysteria and sinker. But I know that many people like them and included them in the collection too. The powerful energy of these guys is rushing to this day. All albums are not badly recorded. I listened to the hi-res remaster of 2016 and didn't like the sound. Sharpened for modern low-quality audio systems. It seems that the vocals were lifted up competently, the volume was added, but they were overloaded with frequencies and dirt appeared in the sound. Japanese CDs sing more clearly. I made a collection out of them. The integrity of the albums is fully preserved. Happy listening and good luck everyone.
