Steve Jobs (Audiobook+PDF & EPUB) By Walter Isaacson, read by Dylan Baker Publisher: Simon & Schuster Audio; Unabridged edition 2011 | 25 hours and 5 mins | ISBN: 1442346272 | MP3-PDF-EPUB-MOBI | 721 MB Based on more than forty interviews with Jobs conducted over two years—as well as interviews with more than a hundred family members, friends, adversaries, competitors, and colleagues—Walter Isaacson has written a riveting story of the roller-coaster life and searingly intense personality of a creative entrepreneur whose passion for perfection and ferocious drive revolutionized six industries: personal computers, animated movies, music, phones, tablet computing, and digital publishing. At a time when America is seeking ways to sustain its innovative edge, and when societies around the world are trying to build digital-age economies, Jobs stands as the ultimate icon of inventiveness and applied imagination. He knew that the best way to create value in the twenty-first century was to connect creativity with technology. He built a company where leaps of the imagination were combined with remarkable feats of engineering. Although Jobs cooperated with this book, he asked for no control over what was written nor even the right to read it before it was published. He put nothing off-limits. He encouraged the people he knew to speak honestly. And Jobs speaks candidly, sometimes brutally so, about the people he worked with and competed against. His friends, foes, and colleagues provide an unvarnished view of the passions, perfectionism, obsessions, artistry, devilry, and compulsion for control that shaped his approach to business and the innovative products that resulted. Driven by demons, Jobs could drive those around him to fury and despair. But his personality and products were interrelated, just as Apple’s hardware and software tended to be, as if part of an integrated system. His tale is instructive and cautionary, filled with lessons about innovation, character, leadership, and values. Enjoy and Seed!!

Thanks!
Thanks in advance.
Thanks a lot!
Thanks alot!
Thank you
You know, I've heard no end of fascinatingly stupid comments since he died. Wherever you stand (Jobs was a demon or an angel), there is no debate that this man had a PROFOUND impact on the current world. Put your stupid personal opinions aside for 5 minutes and just read his story. I bet there is something there that will profit you. There is nothing like the biography of a real imapactor to make you think!
DEAL WITH IT. Jobs could be a worldclass asshole, a pig in the way he treated his employees. A monster. BUT... he was brilliant and changed culture.
However that didn't give him the right to act like such a fucking shit... sometimes.
rambam1776 --- it would have been my fondest wish that you had worked under Jobs, and were the target of one of his shrieking, screaming, bugnut lunatic, humiliating tirades when he lost his temper. I reallllllly wish you could have had that directed right into your little face, in front of a dozen or more co-workers. THEN I'd like to hear your tune . . .

ty for the up
A valuable contribution to PB.
Steve Jobs will forever be remembered. I watched a few old youtube videos of him when he was younger and he was as much the genius then as he was before he passed.
A truly brilliant man. Genius!

Jobs was driven by demons?
Do you think that hipsters like Apple products even more now that Steve Jobs is "underground"...?
Good torrent. The reader has a very good voice for this. Jobs just seems like an anal douchebag, but I suppose that's how you become successful. Nevertheless, it is quite an interesting story. There is a lot of detailed computer history and if you are a nerd like me you will enjoy it.
