For some reason i couldnt get the embedded subs to work - probs me being stupit

When I watch this (an others) in 1080p/HD in vlc player, it freezes a little bit all the time, get pixelization if i pause/scroll and sometimes just a hacking front.
What can this be, the vlc player is updated 2.0.2...? I also want to have this file :(
