Apart from Storytime this album is terrible, it basically sounds like a bunch of movie soundtracks thrown together to make this album.
Im sorry this isn't Nightwish we've all come to love, after hearing Storytime i couldn't wait for this album to be released, but it's a big big letdown in my book, and sadly this will be the first ever Nightwish album i won't be buying :(

ste1976 stop bitcing you squeeling pig(i'm kidding ;),thats one part in a scaretale heh) album is awesome,like all of nw albums.About storytime- this song is single and one of the weaker songs of the album but still good.There are a much better songs on the album like scaretale,ghost river,i want my tears back,last ride of the day,turn loose the mermaids... One thing i dont like on imaginaerum is that the ''song of myself'' is not epic like ''ghost love score'' or ''poet and the pendulum'',first 6 minutes of the song is awesome,but the rest is...meh.album 9/10, quality of the torrent 10/10.enjoy ppls ;-)

junpei23 Yes I've heard some people say this was total flop and some people love it. I bought the album and just finished listening it and it was very different than other nightwish albums and very unique, I really loved it. The album was just that kind of style I really love and that was really really good thing for me ^^ I love soundtrack music, symphonic metal and especially folk/celtic influences. At the intro of I want my tears back when the uillean pipes started I got goosebumps it was just so awesome just the way I like it :D And people really like different stuff like you said you love the first 6 minutes in the song "song of myself" but the rest of it is meh, well for me the last 6 minutes of the song was one of the best parts in the album, the music was so soothing and awesome, I cant wait the movie, I try to keep my hands off from the album as much as I can until the movie >.< I want to get the best experience as I can ^^

I agree it's not like before but this is the new Nightwish with Anette. I have accepted it and love it more and more, concert later this year :)
