In 1986, Andrew Lloyd's Webber's Phantom of the Opera arrived on the West End stage at Her Majesty's Theatre. Fast forward 25 years and Phantom has achieved global success, millions of viewers, a film adaptation in 2004 and a musical sequel. Now viewers have the chance to experience this phenomenal show right from their own screens. Filmed at the Royal Albert Hall, this stunning performance brings the show to a bigger stage and celebrates its role as one of the biggest shows in theatre history, with speeches, performances and appearances by the original cast and some of the show's most notable Phantoms, including John Owen Jones and Colm Wilkinson. Starring Ramin Karimloo and Sierra Boggess, Phantom tells the story of a deformed musical genius who lives in the catacombs of the Paris Opera House. Shunned by society, the Phantom seeks revenge in cruel and often violent acts...

Hi lippz9095, Has this already been released online? I just want to make sure before i download this Thanks
I hvae upped this in 3 file formats... this one is is the smallest download and is an avi file. The other two are a dvdr file ready to burn as a dvd and one thats still in 1080p. One for evryones needs.
Hi lippz9095, are the files you uploaded rips from the DVD that came out in the UK? I already got a satellite rip of the broadcast feed, but I've seen in some YT clips that the DVD camera angles are different, so I'd like to see the DVD version.
Hi,
Can anyone give the following information to the musical:

Duration (Play Time):

Resolution :
Width : ..... pixels
Height : .... pixels
Display Aspect ratio :........
Video Codec..........
Frame rate (FPS) : ........
BitRate : ..... Kbps
Quality Factor : .... b/px

[Audio]
Number of channels :
Sample Rate : ... Hz
BitRate : .... Kbps
I'd suggest waiting for the DVD/bluray. Better edits and better picture and sound quality.
I have 3 formats available from hd1080p-21Gb down to this at only 1.5Gb. sorry I am not an expert just couldnt find this DVD anywhere on line.... so thought id share with you guys. :( sorry if my attempt is not good enough for the geeks :(
No lippz9095, your selection of formats and sizes is good, I think what people wanna know is if this is a rip from this http://www.amazon.co.uk/Phantom-Opera-Royal-Albert-Hall/dp/B005M0X078/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1323222604&sr=8-2

Like I said, there's a version that's ripped from the broadcast feed, with different editing, that's been around since mid November.

So are you files from the actual DVD?
Hi lippz9095 , i just finished downloading the file. It was great. An A+ quality. Thanks for uploading it. Great job :)
So is this from the webcast or from the recently released UK
DVD?
Yeah, this is NOT from the DVD. Too bad. Thanks anyway.
Not from a DVD?
So what is it,

lippz9095 where he took the musical version of 1080p HD (21GB) and reworked to AVI (1.59GB).
He took the camera went on the show and recorded?
This can only official record before the final assembly, and differs slightly from the version of the DVD / BR released in the UK?

Maybe someone will write if there are subtitles title (cast, title etc.)?

So someone can finally write what is the resolution, video codec, display aspect ratio, BitRate, please ...
Yep, not the DVD. Whoever ripped this said it was from the satellite feed, dunno by what means, but the quality of all versions I've seen were fantastic, so if anyone's dying to see it and don't wanna wait 'til Feb just get one.

kuttner, the DVD has some different camera angles. The UK release has English subtitles. The Feb release will have a bunch of subtitles.

It's just weird that there's no DVD rip yet. It's been out for a month in the UK.
I have seen the bluray and the satellite feed version. The bluray version, the sound quality is far inferior than the satellite version, due to post-processing. I watched 6 times the satellite version, but find it hard to sit through once the bluray version, because of the sound quality. So guys, I suggest the satellite version if you prefer a good sound.
GoodFilms suggests waiting for DVD/bluray. I have seen both the versions. With the bluray version, the sound quality is far inferior than the satellite version, due to post-processing. I watched 6 times the satellite version, but find it hard to sit through once the bluray version since the satellite version offer so much better sound quality.
I should add I did not watch this version (where sound format/quality may be modified) but a 6 Gb satellite version - where the sound was AC3 and AAC.
