Trine 2 for linux 32bit

This worked for me.
Though it said during installation that my system was not known and thus not supported, it just run fine and good. I guess the 'known' and supported distros are the major commercial supported ones: RH, SUSE, Ubuntu, Mandriva.
Anyhow in my case, I run a Debian Squeeze 6.0.4 with the following:
~$ uname -a
Linux e01 2.6.32-5-686 #1 SMP Mon Mar 26 05:20:33 UTC 2012 i686 GNU/Linux
~$ lspci | egrep "(VGA|Audio)"
00:1b.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation 82801I (ICH9 Family) HD Audio Controller (rev 02)
04:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation GT218 [GeForce 210] (rev a2)
04:00.1 Audio device: nVidia Corporation High Definition Audio Controller (rev a1)
~$ free -m

~$ cat /proc/cpuinfo | grep "model name" | head -1
model name : Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q8200 @ 2.33GHz
Using: NVIDIA Accelerated Graphics Driver for Linux-x86 (version: 256.53)
Thanks for sharing.

Thanks parfux, tested and working on Ubuntu 12.04 64-Bit.
Had some issues with my Intel HD 3000 graphics card though. It is worth noting that this game is actually 32-bit and you can run into issues if you are using a 64-Bit distro.
If you have like me Intel Integrated graphics and 64-Bit Ubuntu, you will need the following dependencies (google them as they are not in official repositories) or the graphics will look shit and blocky:
ia32-libs-libtxc-dxtn0 - amd64
libtxc-dxtn - amd64
Also you should edit the trine2_bin_starter.sh file in the install directory and change the last line from this:
nohup ./bin/trine2_linux_32bit >/dev/null &
to this:
force_s3tc_enable=true ./bin/trine2_linux_32bit >/dev/null &
After those steps Trine 2 is working flawlessy for me on 64-Bit Ubuntu 12.04. It really is a great game, thanks again to the uploader.

I'm downloading this now. I will be seeding it for a long time. This is a great game and this is a good way to make sure this game is compatible with your hardware...I myself am a victim of buying games for Ubuntu and it wont work do to driver issues.
i am downloading this and will be seeding for very long time. thanks parfux for uploading this awesome game!
