I love the classic eps (as does my 2 year old son). But it appears that the video was not de-interlaced as the previous comment describes. Any time there is movement, you can see the horizontal lines that accompany interlaced video. MediaInfo says "progressive", but not sure why as this is visibly interlaced.
There are also only 2 files...one long video for each disc. 2hr 33min video for disc 1 and 1hr 44min video for disc 2. It would have been nice to have the discs split up into multiple smaller files/chapters instead of one long video for each disc.
If you're worried about the frame rate being variable as it says in the torrent description, don't be. Variable frame rates often break playback on media streamers. However, the framerate on these is 29.97 constant. Not sure why uploader stated variable.
I plan on renting and ripping properly for myself, however this will certainly do in the meantime as my son doesn't know enough to complain about scan lines :0) and the classic episodes are great...so much better than the current kid's stuff on t.v. (including current sesame street).
