>>>Red Faction 2, English Version<<< How to Install: 1.) Burn or Mount first disc "RFACTION2_1" to start installation. Mount second disc when prompted. 2.) Start up the included "mfpatchsteam.exe", and browse for the "rf2.exe" in the game's folder. Select it, then click "Start" to apply the memory patch. 3.) Make sure the first disc is mounted, and enjoy the game. It does not require a CD-crack, unless you don't want to mount the disc. I decided to upload this game since I was super-lucky enough to find it at a used game store, and I couldn't find a download for it anywhere. I can only upload this at 100kb right now, so seeding would be greatly appreciated, as always. This is a fresh Rip from the CD's themselves, and I have tested all of this myself, so it should work for most people. There is also a 1.01 patch available for this game, but I suggest that you DO NOT download it, because the Memory Fix will not work with it. The fix is required for most modern operating systems, especially 64-bit. But anyways, enjoy the game, and seed as always :)

No problem man, this game is a rare classic worth sharing. If anyone has a request for a game they would like me to upload, let me know and I'll check if I have it. I'm kind of a pack rat, so I hang on to everything I download :)
So if anyone has a request, any questions, or would like to play a game online etc., tell me here or add me on Skype: angel-of-sorrow89

Give me at least 10 good seeders here, and I'll upload another rare game :)
I have a request or 2, one isn't so much of a rare classic game, but it's an amazing game with 8-bit style graphics! Scott Pilgrim vs The World and the Super Puzzle Fighter 2 Turbo HD Remix! =D I have searched and I know they are both for PC, but it's hard to find them. Plus Scott Pilgrim vs The World has their new dlc coming out, online playability and Wallace Wells as a new character. Any chance you can upload either of these? Whether you have them or can find them and crack them?
Will download through the night. If all is well in the morning after install, I'll seed for 2 weeks. If this game works, its is DEFINITELY worth downloading. A classic. Will comment on quality after download.
Works flawlessly. 10/10. Smooth install, smooth gameplay, smooth torrent. +1
Will seed.
Will seed.

works fine for me on windows xp.
HOWEVER... i tried out the deathmatch against the bots and found out that this game uses some kind of auto-aim, and i don't see a way to disable it. it wasn't too noticeable at first, but if u put your crosshair on an enemy for long enough, it'll sort of stick to them like a magnet. that pretty much ruins it. it's no fun if the aiming is being done for you. probably something ported from the console versions...
i've googled it and pretty much nothing comes up. seems that most people who played this didn't even notice the auto aim... i'm gonna look around some more but unfortunately i doubt i'll find anything.
if the auto-aim can't be disabled, this game really isn't worth playing... first person shooters are about aiming after all.

alright, so i've looked around enough now and i'm pretty sure there's no way to disable the auto aim, which basically means the bot match "multiplayer" is worthless (this game has no real online play). you simply can't aim normally with the auto-aim b/c the mouse sensitivity drops when your crosshair gets close to a target. the mouse constantly gets "caught" on targets when looking around. which is a shame, b/c some of the weapons seem really cool (sniper, anti-personnel grenade launcher, etc.).
turning off the crosshair doesn't fix it, neither does installing the 1.01 patch, or increasing the difficulty. the auto-aim is still there.
so i recommend avoiding this game. maybe get red faction 1 instead. the singleplayer in rf1 doesn't have much of a challenge, basically higher difficulty enemies are more accurate, do more damage, and strafe a lot. unfortunately, u can't strafe to avoid enemy fire, only take cover or kill the enemy as fast as possible. the highest difficulty is simply impossible for a human player to beat without constant, tedious quicksaving. that said, rf1 does have online multiplayer (no bots though) and there are still some people playing.

having experimented some more now, it seems that even the explosive weapons are annoying to use b/c of the auto-aim. you want to lead your shot, but your crosshair sticks directly onto the enemy like a magnet... it's interesting that no reviews of the pc version of red faction 2 mentioned the auto-aim issue. i guess it goes to show that video game reviewers don't necessarily know all that much about the stuff they're reviewing.
the config files in the game directory only seem to have options for adjusting graphics, nothing for the auto-aim. but anyway, the bot a.i. seems to be terrible anyway. way too easy to kill them even on highest difficulty. they won't strafe left and right to dodge, and they won't even fire their weapons full auto.
