The Lz0 patch doesn't seem to work for me. Could someone please write a few thorough instructions on how to get this patch to fix the "reregistration" pop-up window to show up and then launch the software correctly.

Once you patch the app (By dragging and dropping the AirParrot app from your Application folder) copy the registration code (Generated in the keygen under the name "Linezer0", paste it in the registration field in the AirParrot app, click "Register" then you should be good to go.

Hi OpenArena... The keyGen doesn't work under 10.6.8.... It's asking me to upgrade my OS, and to be honest, I was hoping not having to. Any chance that the key gen can be downgraded? Thanks!

Hey, You say that the requirements for this is 10.6 or later. I am using Mac OS X 10.6.8 and it says that it needs 10.7 or later. Is there way around this, or can the keygen be downgraded? Thanks!

I'm getting the following error message when I try to open the file. I already tried getting rid of the file and re downloading. Anyone know what's going on?

“AirParrot” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Trash.

maybe i'm missing something.. but the keygenerator only works with 10.7... correct me if I'm wrong.. but if I had 10.7 I wouldn't need airparrot, because I would have airplay.. I don't see directions on how to make the keygen work for 10.6.8 users... any help would be appreciated..

Works for me. Mac OSX 10.8.2

When using the key generator enter your OS X account name into the user name field of the key gen, then press "Generate" and paste that code into the AirParrot registration field. Do not use the name "Linezer0" but the name that shows in the Finder when you look at your home directory (usually your name without spaces).

Ok I downloaded the app and it took me a while to configure how to make it work.

1. You have to open the keygen and click 'Patch' straightway. It would tell you to drag the app into the filed opened.

2. Go to finder and then go to application and drag your AirParrot application into the field and it will say 'the application has been patched'.

3. Now copy the 'Linzer0' and paste it on the 'pop up window'.

4. Good to go! Have Fun!! ;)

It's not letting me run the patch on the keygen. I've tried it 10 times. I'm running the newest Mountain Lion

I copy pasted this from another source. It helped me.

Team Lz0 has started making all their keygens Lion (10.7 - probably works for Mountain Lion, too) only, even if the app works on earlier OS versions. However, you can easily fix them so they work for Snow Leopard (10.6+). I'm running Snow Leopard 10.6.8, so you'll have to try another OS version (10.5, for example) to see it will work, too. Here's the 411:

Unzip the Lz0 keygen
Right click on the keygen and choose Show Package Contents
Open the Contents folder
Double click on Info.plist
Go to line with "Minimum system version"
Double click on "10.7"
Change it to "10.6"
Close the Info.plist (click the Save button)
Close the package
The keygen will now work

i am running 10.8.3 and i keep getting the message "Oops Something went wrong with patching. It is advised to try again with a clean binary"
any idea what this means or how to fix it?

After downloading, sent AirParrot to Applications folder, Unzipped Lz0, patched App, clicked generate, pasted KEY into AirParrot Registration, I receive: Invalid License - Please try again or contact support. ???
