Hi All,

Need some help. I've got the downloaded files, all, Trados Studio installed. I'm only having problems with the Activator that doesn't wanna launch at all. I click on it and nothing happens. Anybody has any idea what to do or what I missed doing? It would be super cool if I finally could just use the program. Anyway, seems a nice upload, thanx!
Hi! Where is the activation file? It only got downloaded Privitizevpn ...
@rarelilbird: Sorry I didn't answer immediately, I wasn't following the post. Hopefully you resolved the issue till now. After the first problem I described, and after I repaired SDL Trados installation, problem was resolved, and my Trados is functioning as normal. If you were activating for the first time, you have to follow instructions letter by letter, if you missed anything things can get rather hairy. If you activated the first time, and had THE SAME problem like me, then I believe my solution will work. If even then it doesn't work, then Trados team got us. But not really. If you find the wall and can not do anything, uninstall the shi*, and run TuneUp Maintenance, or get some program which removes registry entries after uninstall, so basically when you uninstall Trados, run registry cleaner (TuneUp Utilities or other software), clean registry antries with that, and try installing again (NOTE: then follow crack instructions carefully). Hope this helps.

Best regards,

A.
@rarelilbird: BTW: Try running the activator as administrator, and shut down connection when doing activation stuff. If you succeed, very important thing is to disable automatic updates, since activator surely works only of specific version (check description in readme file).
I have had a problem, and I THINK I found the cause - just in case anybody else has had this problem: you install fine, things work peachy for a few days and then on running SDL Studio you are suddenly faced with the Product Activation dialogue again, and an error that says:

Error occurred retrieving your license.

Error Details:
Insufficient privileges
(Support reference: InsufficientPrivileges - 108)

The only option on offer is Deactivation (which you can't do, you get the same error)

What you can do is uninstall and reinstall using the same process, and you get a few more days' use out of it - and then it happens all over again. Not exactly great for productivity. Oh yes, and you have turned off "automatic updates".

I THINK I know what the problem was in my case - I was digging around in my Windows services, disabling services that look like spyware and bloatware (Adobe update processes, junk like that). And I come across two "Nalpeiron" services. This Nalpeiron software is known to be installed by various software for monitoring program updates and stuff - basically spy-/bloatware, or so I thought, and Disabled the two processes. Well, I guess that's a bad idea in this case - these seem to monitor something to do with the functioning of SDL and I guess if SDL doesn't get a confirmation of some kind from the services after a couple of days it gets disabled. All I did was reenable the services (Automatic start) and SDL Studio started fine.

Moral: don't touch the Nalpeiron services, at least not in this case.
I got the files and could successfully install all programs inside... But on Windows 8, MultiTerm seems not to work cause it crashes just after clicking on it... Could anyone help me?
How I can make SDL MultiTerm 2011 Desktop work? Trados works fine but Multiterm Desktop says Unexpected exception when initializing view part and Cannot create visible scritpting host
Hi all,

All installation is ok (following all the steps: without firewall, without Int. conecction, leopard head and everything) but when I add de certificate code (the long one) and push activate, the system says that It's damaged and I can't fichis the activation, so now It's an trial version. Any solutions?
Thanks
I did again and now ists working!
I have done those steps:
1- Desactivate the antivarus, Internet connection, windows upd and firewall.
3- Open the two headed activator and click the right head.
2- Open Trados and choose the offline option to activate
3- I put the long code in a new text folder, alone ( IdonĀ“t know If this made anything)
4- Click in "activate" and all ritght.
I have the same problem as Pergedur, when I write the long code they tell me it is damaged...

Something else: I do not know what you are referring to when talking about "two-headed activator" or "jaguar head". I wetn to the activation page by opening the program the 1st time I used it or by going in Help>activation, but I did not see any of these things.
It works perfectly. Thank you so much!!
Does anyone else have the same as problem as me? I installed the files and clicked the activator. When the pop-up box come up, I click the heads and it seems to locate a file in the background. There is a tiny button in the lower left-hand corner that says, "OK!" but clicking on it does nothing. I can't seem to continue with the activator.

Please help!!
Thanks - I followed the instructions and everything works fine.
To others with problem: Turn off antivirus.
Start the activator and click on the jaguar head. Nothing much happens more than that you see a OK in low left corner. When you do, you're done.
The activation takes place in the main program. Turn off Internet and read the instructions carefully.
!!!EVERYONE: The Activation is full of Trojans BEWARE!. Here's a link from Jotti's virus scanner: http://virusscan.jotti.org/en/scanresult/8c1d1428071ce224597e429bef0ebabd6f065768/86c0bb065d74fbec48cb5b4987a39f1f1472e584
EVERYONE BEWARE! The activation is full of trojans, here's a Jotti's virus scanner result: http://virusscan.jotti.org/en/scanresult/8c1d1428071ce224597e429bef0ebabd6f065768/86c0bb065d74fbec48cb5b4987a39f1f1472e584
DEAR SIRS!

To all NOOBS and all other overcautious persons not willing to pay for this piece of soft who are coming up with the goony VIRUS WARNINGS! -- go clean your pants and get back!
- first of all, if you get your pants full every time you need to use cracks, activators etc. - go get yourself a SANDBOX (literally it's a piece of soft free to use which will keep your system clean even if you execute an unsafe progy, like above) and get familiar with it.

For the current case, if you execute the jaguar-activator (i suppose you did deactivate you antivirus for the download and got this malicious cracker to your drive ;) -- you will notice several files created by the activator which are supposed to be placed to the according folders of the SDL package. So do copy these files out of the sandbox to the according SDL-Program-folders manually and you shall be sure your system is safe and clean.
-- so this is how you install and activate trados and passolo --
BUT There is also an issue with MultiTerm.
IT DOESN'T WORK AFTER INSTALLATION

Funnily the installation routine creates some crucial files and folders MultiTerm needs to function in the wrong place. In my case it was a folder with my canon software and I don't know why. But it might be also a different folder in your particular case where all the stuff goes.

What I did was the following:
- I use a progy called AdvancedUninstaller which keeps track of all changes made to the system during the installation of any software. So in the first place you need to know the place where theses files are wrongly placed. In my case it was "C:Program FilesCanonEasy-WebPrint EX" (but it could be another in your case). -- It might also work if you install MultiTerm in the Sandbox but I did not try it...
- 2nd step: uninstall MultiTerm and rename the "Easy-WebPrint EX"-Folder temporarily.
- 3rd : Install MultiTerm again and move the wrongly placed files and folders to the right place in the "SDL MultiTerm"-folder
- 4th : rename your temporarily renamed folder back again
- 5th : HAVE FUN or get lost!
sorry my fault (misspelling)
google for SANDBOXIE
Hello guys, does anyone know where can I get a tutorial about this CAT? Cheers!!
I downloaded the torrent, there is only the readme.txt in the activate folder and NO file was quarantined by my antivirus.

I get the same error message that the certificate is damaged, and therefore cannot use this program! Any help?
This works fine. Just don't open the program until you run the activator, or you will get a 'damaged certificate' error.
