I Did Tried it on Metal Gear Solid 4 Guns of the Patriots Doesn't Work , But i don't know What other PS3 games?
Version .2 is still not capable for playing commercial games, but I heard the dev team is slowly working on that. They are just trying to make it stable enough to do so. Although, they have stated that this version can specifically play homebrewed games, which can save time of PS3 game developers from hacking their own PS3's, I guess.
how to use this thing?
It's really works???
This doesn't work. Your PC needs to be much stronger than the system that you're trying to emulate, and PS3 consoles are obviously stronger than the average computer, so no, it's not possible to emulate PS3s.
@insaneproduction oh, if ps3 were more powerful than the average computer, pc gaming would never have survived the current gen. In pure processing power, the average pc falls somewhere between ps3 and ps4, and the average GAMING PC is a bit above the ps4, but you are correct in saying that it takes approximately 10x the power for emulation, which means a ps3 can be emulated by today's average gaming pc if the emulator is good.
oh, and that 10x thing is just a rule of thumb. This emulator could very well be the real deal, but it will need a lot of work to be on par with a ps3 console, and run the average commercial game
@insaneproduction
hey look someones in 2006 still

I would be very surprised now days if people did not have a computer as good if not better than a ps3, anyone know where I can get a working ps3 emulator?
can i play gta v on this?
You can play GTA V but why not wait till the better cleaner and hopefully BeamNG is enabled for crashes for the game to become greater.
Does this run demon's souls?
how do you use this ?
how does it work? i had already downloaded PS3 games but they dont have elf file
can someone confirm it will work on the last of us i just want to play the game but there are no pc version of it.............. will check every day
@insaneproduction
what do you have? a pentium 4 pc without discrete graphic card? you donĀ“t know what are you talking about.

@edeath - It's very obvious that you know nothing about emulation. Insaneproduction is right - you need to have a stronger machine to emulate properly and even then be prepared for below averagae graphics unless you have something like a quad-sli setup.
Greg- Gaming PC's are MUCH more powerful than PS4. For example, the GPU portion of the PS4's APU can crank out roughly 1.84 tflops and is pretty much on par with the three year old AMD Radeon HD7850. In contrast, the GTX 780ti currently residing in my gaming PC at stock clocks can push 5.04 tflops which works out to 2.5x faster. Once overclocked mildly, it will run over 1200mhz and will do 6.50 tflops.
And yes, It did cost me as much as the xBone, but neither xBone or PS4 can run run games at 4k downsampled to 1200p for an aliasing-free experience.
As for the CPU, the 8-core Jaguar CPU found in both new consoles are 1.6ghz (ps4) and 1.75ghz (xbone) and are FAR slower than current desktop processors. Jaguar cores are designed for netbooks, tablets, and low-mid range laptops. If you underclock an i5-4670K (4-core 4-thread) to 1.6ghz, it would still be considerably more powerful than the PS4's CPU.
This emulator is still in very early alpha testing and was only released to show off the huge breakthrough in emulating a PS3. It's not a matter of just needing more CPU power because if that were the case, how did Sony manage to emulate PS3 on the PS4? (before they removed that feature)
Give the developers a year or so and you'll see big improvements.

AndreeLBC is 100% right. my pc is a I5/gtx480ti/4gram. from 2009 and its still a lot more powerfull then a ps4...
