yea this no longer works after the update and you need the update in order to play the captain booty content and all the other DLC. idk why skidrow hasnt made the cracks compatible with windows 8 yet.

You can use this torrent's steam_api.dll with the 1.1.2 crack, it seems to be working fine.

Man I really want to know what's the difference between the files from the normal to this one. What makes it tick on 7 but crash on 8.

It even works for the "update 5". Tested!
