Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics is a compilation of seven classic fighting games (including one walk-through) developed by Capcom, in which we can fight as heroes of Marvel comics and/or other games of the Japanese publisher.

Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics consists of the following productions:

X-Men: Children of the Atom
Marvel Super Heroes
The Punisher
Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes
Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes
Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter
X-Men vs. Street Fighter.

While the first three games are entirely dedicated to characters brought to life by Marvel, the next four are crossovers, in which comic book heroes can face off against heroes and heroines created by Capcom.

Six of the seven games included in the Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics set are classic 2D fighting games, in which two characters end up in specially prepared arenas and fight until one of them manages to knock out the opponent.

The exception is the game The Punisher, which is a beat'em up, or so-called "walking brawl". As the title character, we go right through various stages and fight adversaries attacking us.

In addition, special extras have been prepared for the needs of the set, such as a jukebox with songs from individual games, a museum containing a wide range of graphics, or even filters that we can apply to the image.

All games in the Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics package allow for single player or multiplayer gameplay; we can play with other players locally (on a shared screen) and over the Internet. In order to ensure stable online gameplay, the authors used Rollback Netcode technology.

The compilation is equipped with the ability to play friendly and ranked games, as well as a special online lobby. In addition, we will find a special training mode, or spectator mode, allowing you to watch other players' games. Complementing all this are global rankings.
