It doesn't work without the 1.7.13.0.6 update and I can't find a download for it anywhere.

It works when I start a new game though, I guess it's just my save.

1.7.13.0.6 is an Xbox/PS3 update, that's why you can't find it.

I've been trying to activate heartfire for a while now and nothing happened.

I have the Razor1911 version 1.7.7.0.6 of Skyrim > http://piratebayproxy.live/torrent/6808323/The_Elder_Scrolls_V_Skyrim-Razor1911
I have this Update 10 + Dawnguard > http://piratebayproxy.live/torrent/7502589/The.Elder.Scrolls.V.Skyrim.Update.10.Incl.Dawnguard

And this hearthfire files.

I copied all files dawnguard and hearthfire (.bsa and .esm) into the Data folder, and just in case, also in the Skyrim main folder, in the directory.


I added the line "bEnableFileSelection=1" into prefs to enter the data files from the launcher, checked both dawnguard and heartfire.

At the moment I have dawnguard working, but not hearthfire, the one I wanted to play. I tried different orders, first dawnguard, first heartfire...

Everything I tried made dawnguard work, but not heartfire.

I even created a line (read it no where, but just to try) "bEnableFileSelection=2" Nothing changed.


Please, help. I hope I gave the necesary details. And please forgive my english, I'm spanish.

Hey! It worked executing TESV, and now i execute launcher and it still works. =S I don't understand, but i'm happy now.

For those who are having problems with getting skyrim to have Data Files to work make sure you change the skyrimprefs.ini in your C:Users{ }DocumentsMy GamesSkyrim folder too. There is 2 skyrimprefs.ini files. Use this to fix both

bEnableFileSelection=1

Also for the people who are crashing at loading of there characters you need to start fresh cause the dcl isn't working with your saves. so try a new game and see if that works. i was crashing on the loading screen of my saved game. not much of a loss since my save was only level 9 but still.

So, I have both this and Dawnguard in my data folder, I installed the 1.8.151 patch, which as far as I can tell is the latest, I have enabled file selection in the launcher, but when I click 'data files', nothing is there, and sure enough the game plays as vanilla, both in a previous save, and a new game I started just to check. I'm at a loss as to what to do about it.
