JavaScript Essential Training (2011) with Simon Allardice From Lynda.com

Use JavaScript to add new features and a richer, more compelling user interface on web pages. This course keeps current best practices and practical uses for JavaScript in mind, while covering syntax, working with the DOM, and developing and debugging across multiple platforms, devices, and browsers. Author Simon Allardice also shows how to progressively enhance and gracefully degrade web pages, and take advantage of the world of JavaScript libraries now available.

thanks!!
If you really want to learn Javascript Lynda's version from 2007 is much better. And you can find it here in PB.
The 2011 version is good to learn everything around Javascript.
Just my 2 cents worth....
ivanovitj: Can you say why the 2007 version is better? I'm struggling to learn JS for a class that has a terrible instructor and I really want something that will do a good job teaching it. Thanks!
thanks.plz post this-Introducing PHP lyna.com.
Thank you! Seeding :)
I also had downloaded the course with Dori Smith a couple of moths ago and now found that it has been replaced with this one with Simon Allardice.. Which one is better?
I've done both Lynda.com 2007 and 2011 tutorials. Simon does a good job in explaining the core concept of javascript. But Dori (2007), does a better job in incorporating JS in real world scenarios. Dori explains her tutorials more in depth in my opinion. Get both tutorials, they will help you. GL
Please guys I need this torrent and I sincerely appreciate the effort of the uploader.

I just wanna ask a quick question. does it also include these items/topics that I saw in another JavaScript essential training on TPB -

{Lynda.com.JavaScript.Essential.Training.2007.DVD }??.

In the torrent info, gordsmash says -

"[JavaScript Essential Training takes viewers through the process of using JavaScript to fully realize a site's potential, from understanding the basics to creating real-world samples. This also explains how to work with objects, create buttons and forms that interact with site visitors, make rollovers, menus, slideshows, and countdowns, and take advantage of other practical applications]."

I just want to know if this one includes those basic topics too cos they attracted me on that particular torrent but since this one is a little more recent, I would also want to download this one. Thank you in advance. cheers..
