i have osx snow leopard,

YOu can upgrade you dont need to remove snow leopard first.
I recommend burn it to a cd but the dude that uploaded this couldn't give a fuck about making it an iso so you will have to find a way to turn this shit into iso file then burn it onto your blank cd.
After you burn it on blank cd reboot your mac then press and hold down option to choose your CD and install away :)
