Thanks
if this is another 1920x820 I'm gonna be really pissed for you calling it 1080p
So you want him to crop it?
crop it? I want it to actualy be 1080p. I got a 1080p screen I want to watch all of it. Who the hell wants to see 2 black bars one on top and another on the bottom? it's like this every bloody time. even 720p is better than some shit 1920x800
backups93, I can't tell if you are trolling or just being fucking ignorant. If it's the latter, go school yourself on aspect ratio and understand how that relates to your desire for 1080 vertical lines.
I'm not trolling at all otherwise I wouldn't bother to answer. I've just downloaded way too many movies/seasons with 1080p on the name and I ended up with 2 black vertical lines on top and bottom and that's kinda disappointing specialy when it's a 50GBs download. Still downloading this one tough so I can't rly say if that's gonna happen but I watched a release of total recall which was also "bluray 1080p" and it was actualy 1920x800 or something like that
You wouldn't experience "disappointment" if you schooled yourself on how things work rather than rage in the comment section against uploaders who have done nothing wrong. The bluray spec is 1920x1080 which is an 16:9 aspect ratio image, but there's HEAPS of movies past present and future that will use an aspect ratio of something other than 16:9 so they must squeeze either horizontal or vertical when encoding to the bluray frame in order to preserve the original aspect ratio (and keep the pixels square).
For example this move has Original aspect ratio: 2.39:1

YOU WILL HAVE BLACK BARS (oh the horror!) lulzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
well like I said. might as well make it 720p then. at least it will fill the entire screen. It's not about the horror it's about you getting something different than what was advertised. for example there are old movies or movies with a very small fan base that if you search for a download the best you'll find is dvdrip xvid or some crap telesync and you should just settle for it. but when there are so many downloads to pick from like in this case and you go ahead and pick one there must be some sort of reason for that. and just for the record once again this description is saying:
"Video: MPEG-4 AVC Video / 23958 kbps / 1080p / 23.976 fps / 16:9 / High Profile 4.1"

So there's your 16:9 which you said it's 2.39:1 so if there are black vertical lines either it's not 1080p like he said in the description or it's not 16:9 like he also said in the description. Either way it's bs
"might as well make it 720p then. at least it will fill the entire screen." that's incorrect. A 2.35:1 film will have black bars in 720P as well because both 1080P and 720P are 16:9 frames. This is a fact you seem incapable of grasping - and because you are so determined to remain pig ignorant on the matter I will mock you will you will stand. The pixels need to stay square, and this is the point you miss, DUH!
aaaaach i hate stupid fools like you backups93...we donĀ“t want zoomed image just because of you...if you want movie without black bars go watch TV thanks :)
