Kaleidoscope’s live set from Berkeley twists acid folk into Middle Eastern spirals, and pulls you deeper with Lowell George, Gram Parsons, and more offbeat companions.

Despite its scrappy origins, it’s stitched together with curatorial care. You don’t just hear songs, you feel the undercurrent of California’s psychedelic folk roots bending into garage, country-rock, and the avant-garde. It’s a sonic flea market full of ghosts.
