lets see if that working....for all who dont want to loose save files go to my documents my games darksiders 2 copy the files that has in it to a flash usb...then install the DLC pack ;)

What you need to do to keep the save of the game, it copy the file "steam_api.dll" from SKIDROW after the installation of the dlc.
Whoever it helped, it would be nice if you say thanks ....

I think to save your games you first need to protect your sales files which will be erased upon installation of this DLC pack.

You will find your save files under:
(User Name) --> My Documents --> My Games --> Darksiders 2 --> English --> (saved game files in this subfolder such as "dssave0.dsav")

You will want to make backups of these files by renaming them (you can rename them dssave0.dsav.bak for example) or copying them into some temporary folder somewhere else or renaming them back after installing this DLC

I installed it and i'm pretty sure I have update 4 installed, but I don't know if it works

None of these worked for me. I have the retail version. Even tried copying the cracked files over. Still no dice.
