These are really great quality. The expanded universe seems like they might be good reads. I am definitely interested in The Last Command. I want to test out this trilogy before I look into other books. Thanks.

Just a comment on the extended universe. There is a lot out there, but not much of it is as good quality literature as this trilogy, so don't get your hopes too high.
Finishing up with Star Wars - Heir to the Empire (vol 1) -- had to D/L the next in the series.

read these when they were released. 7th grade this was awesome. would love to see Timothy Zahn's whole storyline in anime or maybe movie
