As I am new to this, you will have to bear with me. I have a Garmin Nuvi 255W, with software version 7.60, and City Navigator Europe NT2008.
I am trying to install this torrent (8208851) and am experiencing problems. When I copy the downloaded files (Western Europe x 8) onto a formatted SD card, into a Garmin folder, and insert into my Garmin, nothing happens.
I have renamed the files to gmapsup1 - 8.
The Garmin still shows the old version. I assume that I am doing something fundamentally wrong, but what.
Can anyone assist?
