i don't get it. if it's mkv, then it doesn't play on the ps3, so it doesn't matter whether it's cinavia protected or not.

I don't use PS3 so I did not know that. But I do use a Blu-Ray player and they do play MKV and are also subject to Cinavia issues. Knowing others like me may appreciate a no Cinavia verified file for download.
mkv is a great format and plays great on the PS3 Via PS3 media server trans-coding it. AVI is so outdated most blu ray and newer players don't support it anymore. MP4 is the most commonly supported format but the file would be closer to 3GB if it were in MP4 format.
