This series is a refreshing take on the classic fairytales, and it's something new in the young adult genre, even though it's not hard to predict where the story will lead to.
It follows the story of a teenage cyborg girl, set in a futuristic Asia that struggles with a mysterious pandemic. Add an evil stepmother, a handsome price, a Lunar queen, plenty of intreague and manipulation, and you have a story that is a nice read for a dull moment.
In Scarlet, the second book, our futuristic Cinderella teams up with Little Red Ridinghood, and together they face a whole army of wolfmen.
