Clive Staples Lewis (29 November 1898 – 22 November 1963), commonly called C. S. Lewis and known to his friends and family as "Jack", was a novelist, poet, academic, medievalist, literary critic, essayist, lay theologian, and Christian apologist from Belfast, Ireland. He held academic positions at both Oxford University (Magdalen College), 1925–1954, and Cambridge University (Magdalene College), 1954–1963. He is best known both for his fictional work, especially The Screwtape Letters, The Chronicles of Narnia, and The Space Trilogy, and for his non-fiction Christian apologetics, such as Mere Christianity, Miracles, and The Problem of Pain.

The Chronicles of Narnia:
1. The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (1950)
2. Prince Caspian (1951)
3. The Voyage of the Dawn Treader (1952)
4. The Silver Chair (1953)
5. The Horse and his Boy (1954)
6. The Magician's Nephew (1955)
7. The Last Battle (1956)

Note: When I ran this through Calibre the metadata ordered the books in chronological versus the published order you see listed. Now this doesn't affect anything, its just that HarperCollins (his publisher) in updating the formatting and covers, has listed them (including putting THEIR ordering on the covers) in the setting that they happen, which means The Magician's Nephew is the first book in the series. I'm a Traditionalist but I did put the series ordering as offered by Calibre. All you have to do is open Calibre and adjust and then reconvert to ePub or Mobi, which ever is your preference

They Are Best Book For Children.
DO They Have Illustration?
Yes, they are the illustrated books. I failed to mention that :X
Thank You.
I love these books, but my copies are back home in a box. Many thanks for the upload, and the Pauline Baynes illustrations are a real bonus :-)

For anybody wondering about the date order, The Magician's Nephew (one of my favourites from the whole series) although published last but one, is a "prequel" to The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe (did that word even exist in 1955..?) and describes the creation of Narnia and the old Professor's adventures there and elsewhere as a young boy. It also explains why there's a lampost in the middle of a forest.

I don't know what order I'd choose if I were reading them now for the first time ... Nephew was actually the last one I read, long long time ago now.
