The Book of Mormon - Media Pack

A compilation of material related to the musical created by Trey Parker,
Matt Stone and Robert Lopez.

You can find plenty of good information about this musical online, so I
won't add much here, other than the following recommendation.

For people unfamiliar with musicals in general, and/or the work of Parker,
Stone and Lopez:

  Try downloading just the first act of any of the performances you can find
  under the `Show` directory (a modern bittorrent client will let you do
  this easily). The 2011 performance has the original cast, but the 2012
  performance has a somewhat better quality. Watch any of those, and if you
  feel like this is for you, continue with the rest of the material.

For people who are familiar with the work of Parker & Stone, and enjoy it:

  I suggest you download everything and take your time to enjoy it. It will
  be worth it, I think.

* `Demos` contains the original demos created by the composers during the
  7-year period of creating the musical. You can compare these works to the
  final musical to get an idea of how ideas evolve during a project like
  this.

* `Extras` contains extra material that might interest you after watching
  the performances. There are many more interesting videos online, but the
  ones here were selected because they do a great job at conveying most of
  the information covered by other sources. Of course, you can look up more
  for yourself if you so choose.

* `Show` contains two different recordings of performances of this show. The
  one for 2011 is from the "previews" period, which means it must have been
  captured around March 2011, but the precise date is unknown---by the way,
  this is not the same recording you can find on the Internet labeled as
  being from March 1, 2011, this is a different recording which is perhaps a
  little less blurry. The one from 2012 is from the tour period, which has a
  different cast, and differs in a number of minor ways from the "previews"
  era show.

* `Soundtrack` contains, well, the official soundtrack.
