This harrowing war film is an epic dramatization of the first battle of World War II. The Battle of Westerplatte that began on 1 September 1939 will forever be remembered as the one that announced the beginning of the Second World War in Europe. OH, C'MON !!! I watched it, as movies go it's OK, but it's just a Polish lie to feel good after they lost to the Germans in just a couple of weeks, if the Germans wanted, they would have overrun the place in six hours... National 'honor' built on lies doesn't go very far...

Μετα και αφου κοντεψε η HELLAS να φτασει στην ROME ηρθαν σε βοηθεια οι γερμανοι και μας νικησαν..Τhe HELLAS army εδωσε με την αντισταση που προεβαλε την δυνατοτητα στους συμμαχους να ετοιμαστουν καλυτερα και η καθυστερηση αυτη ηταν ενας απο τους λογους που οι γερμανοι επεσαν πανω στον ρωσικο χειμωνα με τα γνωστα σε ολους μας αποτελεσματα. I know a lot about WW2.... The wouldn't because they were too busy conquering the rest (more important) parts of Poland...
The sad TRUTH is that Poland has VERY LITTLE to be proud about... During and after WW2 many polish people persecuted the jews worse than the Germans, even burnt them alive in buildings, after WW2 when some tried to claim their lost houses and property, were threatened and chased away, most of the few jews there have to hide being jews or face discrimination, insults or worse, there is even a Radio Maria of the church preaching hatred against the jews and the government does NOTHING to stop them....
THESE ARE FACTS, easy to verify....
If sakstory knew anything about history, he'd know that the Poles fought on even after their country was destroyed by Germany and backstabbed by Russia. Poles fought everywhere from the Battle of Britain to Arnhem (A Bridge Too far) and beyond. These are FACTS. Easy to verify you dumbass.
